The Good Hope Carbonatite Property is located approximately 45 kilometers northwest of Marathon and 28 km north of Hwy. 17. The property is readily accessible from Trans- Canada Highway 17 - Dead Horse Road. The Dead Horse Road cut the main part of the Property in the northern section and the southern section of the property is accessibly true logging Roads.
Yellow pyrochlore - blue apatite - red carbonate
2016 Sample from site TR-01 lots of large pyrochlore in apatite (data from Professor Roger Mitchell )
Another potential carbonatite intrusive north of trench TR-04A, just 50 meters north of pits 1 and 2 and 150 meters north-east of TR-01. The stripped area shows a contact between an ijolite and a syenite/carbonatite breccia with a window of carbonatite under the syenite/carbonatite breccia; the carbonatite apparently extending under the swamp to the north. At the contact, the ijolite is grading 0.32% Nb205 over 2.0 meters while the syenite/carbonatite breccia got three non-adjacent channel samples of 0.44%, 0.25% and 0.18% Nb205 over respectively 0.6, 1.0 and 1. meter. Again here, the lithological contact seems to be sub-horizontal.
OGS - Good Hope Carbonatite Property (Sample site # 21): To test whether the mineral signature of the modern alluvium sample were derived from the Prairie Lake Carbonatite, which occurs up ice, 2 bedrock samples were taken close to the sample site. The minerals derived from these bedrock samples confirmed that the modern alluvium mineral signatures were local and similar to that reported from the Molycorp Mountain Pass Carbonatite.
Prospector Rudy Wahl has located area (s) with significant values of Nb-U-REE-P2O5 from the alkaline rocks. Tony Mariano and Son visit the Good Hope Carbonatite property and they recommended to fly a closely spaced airborne radiometric & magnetic survey over our Good Hope property, also Tony Mariano recommended that all the magnetic lows under the swamps that surrounding the center carbonatite plug (Nuinsco Resources property) on the Good Hope Carbonatite property to be drilled.
